API keys
API keys shows the keys your systems use to authenticate against the easy to travel API. Visible to Admins only.
Columns
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| # | Row number in the current view. |
| Environment | The environment the key is valid in — Test or Production. A Test key will not work against Production, and vice versa. |
| API key | The key itself. Click the copy icon next to it to copy it to your clipboard. |
| Status | Active or Inactive. Only active keys authenticate. |

An API key is a credential. Anyone holding it can create orders that debit your contract balance. Store it in a secret manager, never in client-side code or a public repository, and never paste it into a support ticket or chat.
Using a key
Pass the key in your API requests as documented in the API reference. Test keys work against the test API host; production keys against the production host.
Rotating or revoking a key
Keys are issued and revoked by easy to travel. If a key has been exposed, contact your account manager immediately to have it revoked and replaced.
